Birthday dishes. I was treated to the experience of the riveu for my birthday! The wine was remarkable paired by a main course that danced among my taste buds in delight! I was in aww how each ingredient married with the next! A talent only wished among most culinary chef’s! Dessert was an amazing array of treats! I could only close my eyes in pleasure, as the decadents melted over my tongue, as my mouth sore to unearthly pleasure! I have had the fortune of tasting many dishes prepared by wonderful chef’s, but never have I had an experience as the rivue! I will return, and I dream of your dishes until my return!
Nothing special. The place has seen better days. Staff were unenergetic, menu uninspired, and decor is decidedly in need of an update. There are plenty of other interesting places to eat in L’ville–no need to make your way up to the 25th floor for this place. It may look down on the rest of the city skyline now, but It’s on its way down.
Great Dinner. My husband and I went to the Rivue for our anniversary and had a great time. The food was so good and the service was out of this world. It was our first time at the Rivue but we will be back. I can not remember our waiters name but she was great. Thank you all for a great time.Kelly
We wanted to celebrate our anniversary by having a nice dinner. We had heard good things about Rivue and excitedly made reservations. We were impressed with the free valet and the attention from the hostess but it ended there. We had hoped to sit in the revolving dining room but apparently those were booked for parties. Our waiter seemed new and was not very confident. This led to some uncomfortable moments. Our food seemed to take a while to cook but we weren’t in a rush an hoped that meant it would be amazing. Presentation was great. My husband’s chicken was very good despite the waiter suggesting we not get it. I ordered the filet. At $48 I expected it to be very good. It was just okay. The sauce on it was very good but there was not enough of it. The bright spot was that the creme brle was very good! Overall, things weren’t terrible but for a $100 meal we definitely expected something more.
Good!. I had heard the food here was mediocre, so though I was looking forward to the experience, I was preparing to be underwhelmed. I was pleasantly surprised! Everything we had was quite good. My partner’s steak was huge for a normal restaurant, and positively giant for fine dining standards. I also really enjoyed the candies and sweets they bring to your table after the meal. And, of course, the view can’t be beat.
Ate at review for our anniversary last night. Place is fantastic! Super food. Super service. Super atmosphere! Would recommend this fine restaurant to anyone! Thanks for a great dining experience!
Best steak EVER. I had the oppurtunity to eat at RIVUE at the end of December, I work for Universal Linen, we are their linen service provider, and the food is amazing, so we hold our annual Christmas party there. I ordered the steak of course, it was awesome, and now I literally want to eat there everyday.
