The Best in Louisville? WHAT?. To those reviewers who rate the Sana Fe Grill as the best in Louisville…what ? Where else have you been? I stopped in after a U of L baseball game across the street — big mistake. I had a combination dinner this evening–taco, cheese enchilada, chile relleno, rice and beans. The taco was ok, but the enchilada and chile relleno were probably the worst I’ve had in Louisville–and I’ve been here almost 40 years and have eaten at practically every Mexican restaurant in town. I rarely complain, but did, especially since this meal was $12.99, $4 to $5 more than this same meal would be at another Mexican food restaurant. For my disappointment, the manager gave me a free piece of underwhelming cake. As other reviewers have noted, the chips are right out of a bag and the salsa is nothing special. Aside from the food, this small restaurant has no charm, no beer, and no reason to go back. For those of you who raved about this place, try Chuey’s — you’ll think you’ve died and gone to heaven!
Absolutely delicious. Two types of salsa delivered with complimentary chips: homemade fresh red (warm), and my favorite a green tomatillo (hot). Burritos are huge and stuffed full- hand made with more care than your chainmoedbobos! Francisco the owner is super nice and this reflects in his staff. Recommend the Mexican beef burrito con quest- a tastebud extravaganza!

The best Mexican. This place has the best Mexican taco’s you will ever get. The customer service has always been top notch, and I will continue to go back every week!
Queso Burrito. YUM!. I love Mexican food and this one is definitely one of the best in Louisville. The service was really nice. I ordered the Queso Burrito, Mexican style and a bottled Coke. The burrito was bigger than my stomach but that didn’t stop me from devouring the whole thing! Spent under ten dollars for my meal. So happy I heard about this place. One of my new favorites!
I absolutely love this place. The service is always good, the chips & salsa are always fresh and tasty, and the good is always delicious and filling. Everything has a very authentic Mexican atmosphere and taste.
