Disappointed today! Have been to sidebar several times & enjoyed it. This time was not as good. They used to have a orange dream cycle shake that was awesome! No longer on menu & asked if they would make one but was told no! Ordered one of the other drinks that IF it had alcohol in it then it was probably half a drop! Fries were good but not fresh cut-seemed like precut frozen. Burger was over cooked but had decent flavor. What a shame! Save some bucks & go to The Troll right around the corner
First time in Louisville and was told to check this place out. Very good burgers. Loved the theming of the menu! Wish I had decided to get a bourbon but didn’t have time. Wait staff were prompt and polite despite it being busy. Good atmosphere, definitely recommend going!
Not a bad place to go if you’re downtown for an event but there are much better burger places in Louisville and better restaurants downtown. Husband had the hung jury and I can’t remember the name of mine but it had Serrano peppers, siracha and fried onions on it. Both burgers were subpar and drink pours were decent for bourbons. We ordered the beer cheese appetizer and that was actually good. Service wast bad initially but our server’s friends came in and sat at the bar table next to us and service took a nosedive.
Did not eat here but had some of the best cocktails I’ve ever tried. Very good whiskey menu. Great service and very friendly staff. Bartender Joel was very knowledgeable and helpful.
Expensive!?!. There are too many places close to Sidebar to spend ~$20 on a burger, fries, and soft drink. Try O’Sheas, Doc Crows, or Bluegrass Brewing Company first.
Love this place. I got there chicken sandwich with fries. Everything tasted awesome and a great atmosphere.
