A local lunch gem in the heart of Hikes Point. Perfectly made sandwiches, hot soup, and friendly, fast service keep me coming back. I especially love the roast beef and Swiss on (toasted) rye with everything! The drive thru is super convenient, and the new location is clean, bright and easily accessible from Hunsinger Ln. Soup. Loved the veggie vegatable soup before they moved but now it’s so hot with pepper, I can hardly eat it. Wanted to try the chili but am afraid it will be hot too.
I just recently moved here and I love local food. I absolutely love Soupy’s! The customer service is amazing. We didn’t realize they closed at 8 and we showed up at 7:50. The employees were so friendly and our food was still delicious! I haven’t had a bad item off the menu yet.
Their chicken salad used to be my absolute favorite food ever. Then they changed the recipe and now my heart is broken.
Tastes great and good for you!!. Just tried this restaurant for the first time today. WHAT A TREAT!!! We had chicken & dumplings, beef vegetable soup, corned beef sandwich, Benedictine and bacon sandwich, and hot BlackBerry cobbler, and fresh tasting unsweetened tea (fresh is hard to come by in most restaurants if you go after lunch). Everything was great. In fact, it’s our new go to restaurant when we are in Louisville. Soupy’ s is a new family tradition for us. I just wish we lived in the area. I would be such a regular customer.
