The atmosphere was nice and the staff was attentive as much as they could be considering that they had a huge amount of tables to cover with limited support. Our issue was that we sat for 15 mins before approached, immediately placed our order – fried pickles, goat burger and the full loaf sandwich both with chips. The fried pickles came out with in 10 mins not a bad way to start off and they were fresh and hot. We then sat and waited another 55 mins for our sandwiches and chips. The goat burger was nice and full of flavor but very small in portion compared to price and the Full Loaf sandwich was so lacking that when it was placed in front of my husband we just both looked at it and let out a laugh. Ever game, he tried it and to say that Subways Italian sub is better is truly no joke and the absolute truth for half the price. We ended up splitting my burger and he gamely ate the chips which had no flavor and took the full loaf home in which my teenager did not even eat it and it hit the trash can this morning. To wrap it up – great place to hang with friends, watch games and just socialize. Do not go expecting good food or timely experience more a social hang out. We wont be going back as we both looked at each other and stated it was a wasted date night!
I have had good luck here. Better than average pub fare, burgers sandwiches greasy snacks are all fine. Plenty of beer bourbon and wine selection. I get the house Goat ale. Beautiful place with high ceilings and subway tile. Great patio. Service has always been fine in my 5 visits. Priced right.
Can’t say enough about the food! Been twice and both times excellent food and happy hour. Had the Southern BLT-with a fried green tomato and sweet potato fries. The Ranch Nachos were good- wished they were a little warmer. Service was good today and the last time so I can’t say I agree with the other reviews. It was a slow day though. Perfect for watching sports. Upstairs and downstairs is lovely!
I think you will have a good experience if you come in knowing the service is really bad and that is probably something that they think sets them apart. Food is great, but service is very slow, inattentive and bothered by your presence. The terrible service must be something that they thinkpeople will remember. They are too hip to serve you or to be bothered by your asking for things over and over, like food or drinks. Order the buffalo cauliflower, when you get it you will be happy. Good luck.
I only gave a 1.0 rating because I can’t give a 0. My wife and I both spent many years in the device industry and we can say with a certainty that the service is atrocious. We live in Idlewild so we have given it probably a dozen chances to change our mind. Nothing. Consistently terrible. Management should be ashamed. The place could be a gold mine and has pretty good food. Unfortunately the poorly trained unpleasant service kills it.
This place is really cool and do open and airy. Tater tots are a must!!!! Great place to watch a game. Love it in the summer when the doors are open. Try the black and blue burger. Yummy!!!
Enjoyed eating on patio. The view and Bloodymary’s were my favorite. Service was slow, but in her defense, she was bartender and server for a busy lunch. Sandwich was pretty good.
