Gluten-free tortilla chips! Yay! Try the pineapple salsa! Pretty tasty! I like the sweet/spicy taste. My wife did not. I had the Labamba margarita! It’s on the sweet side and small! Very tasty!I had the Covina dish. It is a fish dish with asparagus, potatoes, and a spicy queso sauce. This dish was very good. I also had the Mexican Corn on the cob! Good but a little over cooked. My wife had the gluten-free beef tamales. It was served with rice and beans. She said was a good portion and good! She said it was not too spicy, so she liked it! Overall, good place to go and close the the Louisville slugger museum.

Higher end Mexican food. I travel a lot and love to find chefs and menus that take classic cuisine and add their own twist. I had the Chuleta de Otono a pork chop with Apple jam and a slight Mexican bite. Excellent. I tried to talk my friends into returning the next night. Next time I am in Louisville I will gladly eat here again.

I enjoyed it, I only had one thing, some sort of half chicken thing, and it was pretty good, I don’t know how the rest of the menu and more standard Mexican (restaurant) affairs stand up. Wasn’t impressed with the sides available, but if you get things like burrito, tacos etc that shouldn’t be an issueUpdate, went a second time, got the enchiladas, they were okay, tad too salty, and nothing better than what you’d get at a standard Mexican restaurant, and probably not as good either.

We went here last night. The atmosphere was cool, but the place was extremely loud so it was tough conversing with others. When we sat down it took a bit for a waiter to show up, but once he did the service was great. We ordered the Pork chop and several of the tacos. The pork chop was extremely good but not worth $23 along with its two sides. The black beans were mushy (over cooked) and not seasoned. The tacos varied with types of meat but all were extremely dry. It was like the meat was over cooked or had been setting out too long. Won’t be back. It’s not worth the $$.

This is my favorite watering hole. The happy hour is Monday through Friday with drink specials and half price tacos. The bar staff of Jon Jon, Chris and Mike cannot be topped! They are the most friendly and attentive I have ever seen. I cannot say enough great things about them. When we walk in the door, our Negra Modelos are waiting. Not to forget Matt, our favorite server-also top notch!!!! The food is outstanding as well. I highly recommend the sin carne tacos!!! If you haven’t been to Wild Rita’s, you are missing a fantastic experience!!! 5+++ stars!

Best Happy Hour! Bartenders at Rita’s are so skilled. They always put a spin on traditional drink recipes. The food is fresh and hot. Great Happy Hour specials. Jon Jon, Mike and Chris work hard to make sure everybody has a great time. Can’t beat the atmosphere at Rita’s!

Impressed at the start, but it seems like something is coming off their best pitch since then. Imaginative and creative menu offerings have become overly salted and less nuanced in their flavor. Cocktails are terrific, particularly some of the specialty margarita offerings. And it’s still packed on the prime dining hours so make sure you have a reservation. Service is sketchy, seems like some of the staff have a bit of an attitude
