Definitely my favorite Indian restaurant in Louisville. Yes that is not exceptionally great and authentic but the service makes this place special. They take care of their customers preferences and always try to keep them happy. I’ll definitely recommend their weekend special lunch buffet. Wide variety of vegetarian and non vegetarian delicacies are available for lunch. Their food has South Indian influence. I’ll definitely recommend this place. Try Chettinad style chicken. Please do try Indo Chineae food and I am sure people who likes spicy food will just love this.
Very friendly staff, excellent service really feel like a home eating Indian cuisine after so long time. Also serves Indian beers as well. But lunch buffet where they are lacking the quality for food which they desperately need to work for l will definitely suggest to maintain good quality on their buffets. Rest all good great ambiance a must try restaurant which I will recommend at list just for once.
Best Indian Cuisine. I have been to Bombay Grill many times. I have been to other Indian restaurants, but none as good as Bombay Grill. The staff are very cordial and professional. The food is Outstanding, fresh and the buffet always has a different variety of delicious dishes. My Indian neighbors go with my wife and I often and they would agree that Bombay Grill has the BEST Indian cuisine in the Louisville, KY area. It is a beautiful restaurant with great service and excellent food. That equals 5 stars with me.
Absolutely Terrible!. I’ve read some of the other reviews, and I feel like we can’t be talking about the same place! I adore Indian food. My boyfriend and I are always continuing to look for more Indian places to eat. As we were driving past Bombay Grill yesterday we decided to give the buffet a try. Indian buffets are a blessing, and we were both very hungry. The restaurant was extremely busy. We took that as a good sign. The tables are small and cramped together, but if the food is worth it I won’t mind. We waited in line to get our food. The buffet itself was in a very strange order. We sat down to finally try our food, and it was AWFUL! We both choked it down to try to be polite. He had to eat most of mine, though, because the taste of it was about to make me sick. Our whole stay was maybe 15 minutes. It is some of the worst food I have ever tasted, and I have tasted some bad things. When I say this it isn’t just because the food wasn’t my thing. Some Indian food doesn’t have flavors that I enjoy, but I can recognize that it is good. This was just bad. I would describe the tastes and textures of this food if I wasn’t worried I would get sick just thinking about it. I will not be returning.
Food is ok. But pathetic service with awful servers. Staff is not at all pleasing, very rude and weird.will not suggest.
Great Indian food. Excellent cuisine with a good mixture of North and South Indian dishes. If you like Chicken Biryani, I have found it to be one of the best I have eaten.
Some of best Indian in town. Finally got to check this place out and I was not disappointed. They have a huge menu, both north and south Indian. Best garlic naan in town, no doubts about it. You also get a lot of food for the money, it might be a dollar or two more per dish than other places, but you get well more than a dollar or two extra worth of meat and vegetables. Plenty of level of spices, I didn’t find it quite as flavorful as Shalimar or Taj Palace, but almost as good for me. I do typically get North Indian food (Chicken Kadai, Saag, Vindalo or Punjabi) so I cannot comment on other types of dishes.
