We’ve had good luck at California Pizza. I love the BBQ chicken salad and pizza. My wife usually split that and are just right for quantity. They now have some upscale entrees that looked great. Location is great if you plan to be at the mall. It’s a bit pricey, but convenience is nice. Oddly decorated with liquor bottles, what’s that all about?
This CPK is in a very convenient location for a half-time break during a shopping spree or a final destination after running errands in the Saint Matthews area. Regardless of your excuse to stop by this location, it is necessary to try as many of the salads, pizzas, and pastas as you can!
Very sad. This used to be a great place to eat. Now the food is way over priced. The wait staff used to look professional. Now they are on jeans. They took down the dividers between booths, so it’s like eating in a cafeteria. This also has made the place so noisy you can’t hear the people at your table over the noise.
CPK is a restaurant with a large menu. Although it may seem overwhelming, almost everything on the menu is solid. Out of the pizza selection, I would suggest the Jamaican Jerk Chicken. It has a thick sweet and spicy Caribbean sauce (tastes like bbq) with red and green bell peppers, onions, scallions, applewood smoked bacon, and mozzarella. Its around 12 dollars and is the best pizza I’ve had there. The fresh colorful toppings mirror it’s colorful taste, bold taste. If in the mood for tacos, you certainly can’t go wrong with Carnitas Tacos. Its different from most places due the avocado salsa verde. The pork is cooked how you expect good pork to be, tender and juicey. I highly suggest both of these entrees.
CPK. Service was pretty good. I sat at the bar so the bartender was busy but she was able to get me what i needed. I had the margarita pizza and the passion fruit mojito. The Margarita pizza was a flavorful cheese pizza i liked it alot. PASSION FRUIT MOJITO IS A MUST TRY!!! BY FAR MY FAVORITE MOJITO!!
Prices are ridiculous, food is barely average. Finally tried CPK after all these years and what a disappointment. The food is barely average and the prices are outrageous. I will never ever eat there again due to the prices along. Service was ok.
I enjoyed this visit the staff was nice the food was good.
