First time here tonight and it was delicious! I had the carnitas, and honestly they were the best I’ve had at any restaurant. Fall apart tender, served on top of a tomatillo sauce with crema drizzled on top and served with tortillas. The friends I was with got the short rib nachos and they were delicious as well! This is a little more upscale than most restaurants of this cuisine around Louisville, and while my entree was $16, I felt it was very much worth it. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for delicious Mexican food, great food and service!
I love the poblano chicken here. The mole is perfect. The rice and black beans are perfect. This is probably my favorite dish in Lou. We are never disappointed at Guaca Mole.
One of my favorite place among the more than 20 states I have visited so far. This chef is awesome. In Louisville he has Havana Rumba, Mojito, this one, mussel and burger bar, Cena and two taco bars. This is Cuban and Mexican combination. Everything is recommended. So depending upon your choice you can order anything. Everything is perfect. Yes and ample choice for my vegetarian friends. Please also try pink lemonade.
This restaurant gets it right. Absolute perfection from appetizer to dessert. I’m a bit picky about some ingredients – all questions were answered to my satisfaction. I ordered with confidence and everything was beyond my expectations. Amazing flavor surprises in every dish. Can’t wait to go back again. The only problem will be forcing myself to try new or different menu items, since I so enjoyed what I tried the first time. Try a signature cocktail and be sure to save room for dessert!
My husband and I love this restaurant! The drinks are good and at a fair price, I recommend the mango picante if spicy is you’re thing! The guac is a thing of beauty! The shrimp ceviche is my favorite, the salmon ceviche is good too. We’ve tried just about the entire menu and everything, even the salads, has been good or outstanding!
The name of this restaurant properly prepares you for what is to come–the most delicious, fresh, beautifully presented guacamole you will ever encounter! The menu is fresh and authentic. This restaurant was a great replacement for what used to be a slow and mismanaged Applebee’s. The bocadillas are flavorful and different from the everyday sandwich. Absolutely delicious! This place can quickly become pricey, but it’s well worth the investment!
Amazing! Our first meal as residents of Louisville. This unassuming restaurant offers upscale Latin American cuisine in a beautiful atmosphere and space, with diligent service, and a creative menu. With ties to Havana Rumba and Mojito Tapas, we were not surprised that we loved this place!Fresh chips were served with three salas: one cruda, and two pureed, including a tomatillo-based spicy salsa verde. For entrees, we ordered the Al Pastor Tacos (marinated pork, with cilantro, onions and smoked pineapple salsa) and the Pork Enmoladas (marinated pork, with Poblano, sesame seeds and crema). An instant favorite!
