Had the Sal’s special and pepperoni pizzas and both were great. Thin crust, lots of toppings and really generous good mozzarella! A lot better than most in town.
Great Place to Watch a Game. Went to Sal’s this weekend, had a great time. So many fans, really feels like your at the game. Food was good, beer was cold and the service was great. Bartender was friendly and got our orders correct and was speedy. Great smile too. More than enough Parking. My husband and I will go back to Sal’s.
Unsatisfactory service. First time visitor, heard good things about the Pizza so thought we would try the place. We sat in bar area and the service was poor to say the least.Tried to get the big blonde bar tender to assist us in getting drinks. We were told we would have to wait. I went back to my seat and waited. Finally a dark haired girl asked what we wanted and she took our drink order. Waited at least 10 or so minutes for her return with menu’s and our drinks. Seemed as though she was the only waitress in the bar area. The place was way to crowed for one waitress. We again went to the bar to get another drink and was ignored, she was involved in a conversation with her friends so it seemed. Disappointed with the blonde behind the bar she was rude, and didn’t care attitude.As far as their pizza it was very tasty loved the crust lite and crispy. IF we come back we will sit somewhere other than the bar area. Nice place but need to replace the rude bartender.
My new favorite place for pizza. This small little place is the place to go for the BEST pizza I have ever eaten.The crust is not doughy, but a crispy crust with HUGE amounts of toppings and cheese…(GREAT TASTING BUTTERY CHEESE)
The Best Pizza In Louisville. I moved from Chicago 3 years ago and discoverd Sal’s Pizza working for and advertising company….I was TOTALLY surprised……………This is the BEST pizza I have eaten not onlky in Chicago but the best I have ever eaten.This place is really, really good.
Worst customer service I have ever dealt with. I called in to go order and used a coupon I had received 3 days before. The coupon was for a 17 two topping pizza, breadsticks, and a 2 liter. When I went to pick up my order they told me that I had to choose the breadsticks or the 2 liter, not both. When I showed them my coupon they simple said that they had so many coupons out that they couldn t keep them straight and I would have to choose, even though the coupon clearly states it is BOTH. This is the old Bait and Switch, get me in the door and then changed the deal. After going round and round with them I ended up leaving with the pizza and the 2 liter. Only because I was picking this up for others back at the house. I do not understand how they can issue a coupon and then not honor it just because they didn t feel like it. I have never even heard of another company doing such a thing. The food is ok at best and the customer service is the absolute worst. Do yourself a favor and skip this place.
