I liked the concept of To Go for Sushi. Definitely very creative. Food was very nice and you can figure it out the freshness of the food. But considering the price I found little expensive. Overall a decent place.
My brother have me the heads up on this place so I decided to try it out. I went in instead of using the drive thru because I had no idea what to expect. The inside is like a tiny sushi restaurant. Nothing like a fast food place. I ordered gyoza, a salad with ginger dressing, a crunch munch roll, and a New York roll. Everything was fresh and delicious. The rolls are huge. I definitely had leftovers. The food was ready super fast, too. I think I waited MAYBE five minutes, if that. Everyone was very nice. I will definitely go back.
Who would have thought that a place called ToGo Sushi would turn out to be the best Sushi in town. My family tradition of sushi every Friday night gives us the opportunity to try a lot of options. This place is always on our rotation. Big rolls, great prices. Most importantly, always fresh. Don’t compare ToGo Sushi with a large-menu restaurant. It’s all about the sushi which is why it is so consistently great, I suppose.
Don’t let the outside appearance fool you…. I have been skeptical about trying the sushi, but was impressed. The sushi and ginger salad tasted amazing. I tried the Miso Soup but it had more mushroom flavor than I like, but that is strictly my preference, nothing bad about the soup. The price was reasonable, the place was clean although I didn’t eat inside (I ordered my food togo). I wanted to go in and order to make sure the inside of the restaurant was nice, and it was. I will recommend this to my friends!
Great Sushi!. The first time was excellent so was the second the next day and the third the day after that but now it’s the weekend so we’ll have to go for day four on Monday and see how it goes.
Delicious Sushi. On a scale from supermarket sushi to high-end sushi, I’d say it’s high-end quality with a supermarket price (actually cheaper). I often get takeout down the street at Hiko-A-Mon, so for me it’s an even quicker, less-expensive option for the same quality of sushi. The outside and signage could use a facelift though. Try it.
Tasty Sushi Lunch Break. Great first impression! The staff was pleasant and my take-out order was ready in the 20 to 30 mins they quoted me when I called it in. The rolls tasted fresh and they looked lovely. My coworkers ordered some rolls too and liked them as well. Our only small issue was that we had a hard time getting the large pieces into our small mouths. That is hardly a complaint but it just made for an entertaining lunch meeting. I will definitely be going back!
