Love this place for lunch maybe once a month…my innards couldn’t take much more of the firecracker chicken with sriracha mixed in , which I love so much I don’t want to try anything else on the menu. I have tried the egg rolls which are small but delicious, and the wonton soup which is simple but addictive. Once I also ordered the mongolian chicken for lunch the next day and didn’t like it; I ate the chicken and broccoli out of it but the noodles were flat and goopy and the sauce was unappetizing. Never had a problem with service even on busy lunch breaks, prices are not cheap but aren’t a splurge either. Entree portions are large, which I think is a good thing.
If only there were more Yangkee Noodle locations in this country. I crave the firecracker dish (the tofu is to die for), but this extremely flexible name-your-ingredients locally owned restaurant has it figured out. The owner Dan is a great guy–I genuinely enjoy each time I run in to him. This place is an absolute GEM–no fake, filler, gross food here! Take out is made easy with delivery to your vehicle, but the vibe inside and on the patio is worth giving it a try by stopping in and relaxing. I can’t say enough about this place!!
