As authentic as it gets, literally a tiny storefront counter with kitchen in the back, tables out front, and fridges for drinks. This reminds me of the Mexican food I ate growing up in Southern California. 50statesofwine.com
Great little hole in the wall. Don’t let the neighborhood stop you from trying this authentic little Mexican restaurant. The food is very good and the price is even better. The Carne Asada tacos are perfect and the quesadilla is very unique.
Great place. Truly Mexican. Not fancy at all, right beside a drycleaners. Food was great and reasonably priced. Little shady area but nothing to stop you from going. They no longer serve chips though.
You need to show a menu, please. Delicious food. Homesick Texan.
Fantastic. If you want a casual place where you can sit down, have a few cervezas, and eat absolutely wonderful authentic Tacos, then this is your place. Incredibly cheap and the portion sizes are pretty nice. I just had a full lunch and drink for only $4.50! Great deal
Authentic!. My husband and I stumbled on this little gem while searching for a Mexican restaurant that I swore I had passed on 4th Street in Covington (I was wrong). We got a little bit of everything and loved every bite! The chips were homemade, hot, crispy, with the folded over parts that hold the most salsa and goodness that my husband and I fight over. This place is tiny, so you might miss it if you aren’t careful. They do not accept credit or checks, so bring cash. The food is reasonably priced and very authentic. I could just imagine an old woman in the back cooking and preparing our order.
