Bartender was terrible!!!. Went to rumors for dinner and there was a wait. An open bar stool opened and we went and sat down to get a drink. We were told that we had to order our drink from the computer and then I asked if I could drink my drink at the bar…she said no hot food comes up here. Someone drinking a drink just left this spot! She was rude about how she said it and made it a horrible experince. We went to simply thai and had a great dinner with awesome service.
Great food, great atmosphere, first class. We were looking for something yummy while we were in town. Seafood at a great price sounded good so we ended up here. From the outside it looks a bit shabby but the food and service is anything but shabby. Friendly and attentive service, good prices, and tasty food. An older man floated through the dining room and appeared to be the boss. He was very friendly and attentive. Great gem.
Not Bad, Not Great. I recently tried this place for the first time–had no idea it was here. A friend and I shared their large boil bowl (crab legs, shrimp, mussels, corn, etc.) and it was pretty tasty–not wonderful, but tasty. The mussels were tiny and the crab so so. The shrimp was very good. Friends with us said the grouper bites were good. Wait staff was competent but not overly friendly. Would like to try other items.
Never Let Down… Great oysters.. Yumm… Chicken Wangs are great and fried crispy.. Grilled fish is wonderful.. Cold Beer… Nice Folks.
All around great place. Make you feel welcome & food is great. I love coming to town & eating here. They have something for everyone. Tried my first oysters here when I turned 50 & was so surprised that I liked them. Don’t miss the opportunity to eat here

Loved it. Heading to Louisville today and realized I’d never writen a review of Rumors from the last time. Wife and I went for lunch. Had raw oysters, big and fresh. My wife had a lunch platter with wings and something, I’m getting old and forgetful. She enjoy it, I stole a wing, and must say they were great. I had the grouper platter, grilled. Grouper is my favorite and this was wonderful. Our server was friendly and helpful. The place is clean and you can see them cooking in the open, behind the bar seating. I love this place and I’ll be there for dinner tonight.
