Had Scotty’s pizza last night. I can say without reservation it was among the BEST pizzas I’ve ever had. Great mix if fresh ingredients without over burdening the crust which was perfectly cooked. Want great pizza? Go to a BBQ joint. Don’t be in a rush. Have a beer or two while your pizza is made.09 Mar, 2014Had Scotty’s pizza tonight. The house made sausage was great, flavorful but not overly seasoned. Great crust. Cold beer.06 Mar, 2014Visited last night for the second time. Lots of regulars enjoying drinks after work. The pulled pork sandwich was moist and flavorful. I tried the hot sauce which had good latent heat but wasn’t overpowering. Meat was flavorful without being too smokey. Heard the fried chicken is really good. I’ll go back and try it soon. No frills. Good BBQ.
This local barbeque place is extremely understaffed. It took my family 1.5 hours to get our food (a pulled pork platter, pulled pork sandwich and a kids chicken meal). The food was good, however. Next time might order carry out so that the wait can be at home.
Great food!. Enjoyed the food and atmosphere. This is a hole in the wall type place where the locals gather.
Disappointing. It MIGHT have been good if the pulled pork had ANY real smoke flavor on it. They bring you a cup of sauce on the side – WHOA!! I was educated on bbq where the meat should taste good on it’s own without sauce. Sorry, this tasted like unseasoned, unsmoked, lukewarm pork shoulder. Plus, they didn’t even have any ribs available. Color me ‘Outta Here’ –
