The Best.. Skyline and Gold Star just don’t even compare to Dixie. I suggest getting waffle fries with cheese.

The chili is just ok.. This was my third time eating at the Dixie Chili in Newport. This time I ordered a three way and two chili cheese sandwiches so that I could taste the chili without any interference from the hot dog. The three way was interesting in that the chili is a lot thicker than Skyline’s. The spices seemed milder as well. I didn’t like the buns because they had a wheat taste, so I scrapped off the chili on the other two and was surprised at the amount. They must have used one half a scoop of chili for all three sandwiches. This happens in other chili palors as well.
