Went here about 2 weeks ago and ordered almond crusted trout. It was cooked well and flavorful. flavorful. My boyfriend ordered pork chops and was very happy with them. Great selection of craft beer. Staff was very very kind and attentive. I enjoyed the very casual atmosphere. Will definitely return.
Two 6 oz. center cut pork chops breaded and fried, smashed redskin potatoes with homemade gravy, and steamed fresh vegetable mix less than $15 and delicious all served by friendly staff. Green Derby was an exceptional find. Convenient off-street parking is an additional plus.
We have eaten here several times the good was always very good and the staff was very nice. There is now new management & our experience on Friday was not very good. the waiting staff was extremely slow and I ordered the halibit which is the number one food they’re known for and the fish was stale and it was burnt so I sent it back my husband did get their special which is prime rib and that was very good but it was $36 a plate which they did not advertise or tell you and I do not think we will be back.
New owners!!!. Give these guys a chance. The food is awesome!! The new owner is friendly and focused on the guests. We had a GREAT dinner. Get the prime Rib.
Great food for a great price. We ate here on Friday Feb. 20, 2015 I got the grouper and my husband got the Friday special which was BBQ ribs. The food was excellent the staff is very friendly. I saw a lot of customers hugging the staff and could tell that they ate there on a regular basis. If you eat here you have to try their Derby Salad which is their signature side salad. It has a homemade hot bacon dressing on it. It is not spicy but it is temp. hot they heat up the dressing and pour it over the cold salad. The food was so good that we came back again on Saturday. I would recommend this to anyone who enjoys a good meal for a good price. Most of the menu prices are around 12.00, of course the ribs and steak are around 20. They give you large portions of food for the price. Also for desert they have tons of homemade pies. We tired their peanut butter pie, it was AWESOME.

Recent review. When reading these reviews, do yourself a favor and check the dates. We have been going there for 10 years and there have been good and bad years, but we had a great meal just this week (April 2014). I highly recommend the chicken livers. We always sit in the bar to eat, but the decor in the restraunt has been updated.
