This place is soooooooo good! Highly recommend the turkey and brie sandwich. Can’t wait to come back again! Didn’t try the results but they looked excellent. Chris was our waiter and he is awesome!!!!
The York Street Cafe is a wonderful place to dine with friends to enjoy food that’s well prepared, nicely presented, professionally served in the warm ambiance of the wood cabinets of the drug store that originally occupied the space. The prices seem low and the value high. I hope to plan a dinner there soon.
Wow – this place is lame. Whats everyone thinking? Way overpriced for the service and food.. We were anxious to try this establishment based on some positive reviews but boy was our experience a bummer. Arriving @ 7:00 on a Saturday night can be a challenge but waiting an hour to get seated was not a problem. The service and food thereafter can a only be described as non-existent and poor. We sat down at 8:00 at a poorly located table in the bar area and waited until 9:15 for our food. During this 1.15 hour wait time our server never came around and when the food did come it went over with a thud for our group of four. One of four of us had anything positive to say about their dish. Do Not get the Poblano Pepper. Its small, bland, dry and generally Id find better at any local Chilis restaurant. The Egg Plant was dry, tough and the spaghetti cold. The food was way overpriced for the quality. The server never came back around to check. Maybe he was embarrassed but wow was this bad. Other than the location with nothing else being really near I dont get it why this place was full. Maybe the locals know something we don’t but we were universal in that we wont be back.
