Great Beer Selection – A little salty attitude !. This place is a haven in Owensboro, KY for good quality beer. It made me very happen to see there is no major domestic super beer companies here, like Bud Light, Coors Light, Miller Light and the likes. They serve mostly imports and craft beers but do have some of the craft beers those super beer companies make, which is ok too. The pretzel was awesome, the beer was endless, the service was friendly and a bit salty, which fits the place thats on the side of hipster and eclectic.
Gambrinus is what a bar should be. Your first visit makes you realize that all the other bars in Owensboro are a joke. Everything about it is perfect from the beer selection to the service. The amployees are not only friendly but are also great at recommending beers based on what you like. Cannot give this place enough praise. Will never go to another bar again!!

Cheers. Finally a place where the adults can drink. This place has a great atmosphere, the greatest staff, and a fantastic array of drinks to choose from. If you don’t know where to start when you get there someone will gladly help you make a choice and typically their spot on. If you haven’t been go…and if you have, go back!

Beer for grown-ups. Gambrinus is a great place to enjoy a beer or cocktail in a classy, adult environment. Love the comfy, round seating and the ambiance. Long list of martinis and more beer selections than I can ever hope to sample. Now I need to get there on Wednesday so I can try the food I have heard so much about…
Best bar in owensboro. Gambrinus is smoke-free with a huge selection of beer, beautiful enviroment, and good bar food. The only bar to go in owensboro if you aren’t interested in seeing a fight and puke in the bathroom. This place is classy, friendly, and an overall great experience, time after time. It’s always clean, always fun, and a great place to hang out. We went at least once a week when we lived in Owensboro, and will be back now every time we visit.
