I definitely recommend their Quesadilla Tropicale. Soooo good! Our favorite Owensboro Mexican food! We have never gotten a meal we didn’t like. We have also never had bad service.
Excellent first visit. I was impressed and greatly pleased by the table side homemade guacamole. It could very well be the best guac I’ve ever had! (I will order the large next time). The prices are reasonable and their menu, albeit large, does have authenticity. I WILL come again.
Best Mexican food in Owensboro
The service was terrible. We gave our drink order five times to three different people and still didn’t get our drinks before they came to take our dinner order. They messed up my wife’s order. Food was below expectations. Back to Real Hacendia.
My husband and.Iare addicted to this.place.. we now.have a favorite resturant!. We have eaten there probably.10.times.in.the.last two.months.. and.are looking forward to.our next visit before we finish our meal!!
Muy bueno!. Owensboro has several Mexican restaurants and I have always loved Real Hacienda, but Papa Grande is now mi favorita! My husband and I went here tonight on a recommendation from a friend, and I know we will be back soon. I liked it as soon as they brought out a bowl of house ranch dressing as well as a bowl of salsa. There are lots of choices on the menu and the food is made to order.. The service was great, everything was very clean, and the prices were reasonable. And it was nice not to be rushed in and out like at Real Hacienda.
I consider myself a foodie! This place is great. The food, the atmosphere, the prices, the friendliness from the staff! Plenty to choose from and it’s Delish!
