The most boring decor they have had in the past 30 years! The prices are the highest that they have ever been! Good luck to this new dump on Frederica Street. I have eaten here for over thirty years and am so sad to see this!
Each time they update the menu it gets worse. Less seafood, more pasta or pizza etc. Dinner salad used to be good , now cheap, iceberg and croutons. Nothing special about it anymore.
Regular customer. On Wed. evening 6/27/13 My wife and I went to RL with a gift card. When we arrived we asked for a table for two. We were told there would be a wait. There were at least 18-20 tables open that we could see. The manager happened to be at front of restaurant and we told him if we were not seated at one of those empty tables we would go someplace else. They miraculously found a table. But the hostess who seated us had such an ATTITUDE, we left before we even sit down. This is usually a good place to eat and we are regular customers. I don’t know what the problem was last night but we will NOT be going back for awhile.
Old & tired. Maybe it’s the Owensboro location but the past year or two I’ve been there several times and seafood was relatively expensive and mediocre. I don’t mind paying a premium for good seafood, either. The decor of the place is old and tired–still having the look and feel of the early 1980s. Unlike the past, there are too many good options in Owensboro.
Food was great, be prepared to wait at least an hour from when you place your order to receive it though. The wait staff continued to blame the kitchen however our waters, beer, and sodas were always empty. Top worst experience dining out in 31 years, minus the food, it was good.
The food was okay, but we specifically asked the hostess to sit us in a quite spot away from large groups and small children so we could enjoy each other’s company on a rare night out. No sooner than we got our drinks the same hostess sitted a family with 3 kids under 5 in the booth behind us and a party of 9 at the tables next to us!!!!
Eat here often, and find the food and service very good!
