Best sugar free chocolate latte. My husband loves a good sugar free latte. He has a regular coffee shop he visits and loves. The Creme’s sugar free chocolate was the best latte my husband has ever had. Even beat his regular coffee shop. We played board games and enjoy ourselves. The only thing I would change is the counter and behind the counter is quite cluttered. I think if it was decluttered it would look much better. Just my opinion….. Overall great experience!! We will be back when were in town again.
Rest of the group loved this place, I have reservations…. The Creme Coffee House should be an Owensboro favorite. Quaint, fun menu, historical. This place seems to have it all. All of my coworkers liked their coffee items they got. I ordered the Cubana Espresso which was labelled as having two shots of espresso and sugar. What I got (and I have a picture) was a giant 12 or 16oz cup that held the contents of this espresso in there which, for the $3.75 price, seemed like a giant rip off. I seriously questioned if it held two shots or just (realistically) one shot. Regardless, a place like this, trying to be what it is, needs to invest in actual cups for dine-in customers and while they’re at it, invest in cups that meet the serving sizes recommended by their menu. While not necessarily making the customer thinking they’re more high-end by doing that, at least it won’t leave them feeling that they got ripped off. A coworker of mine got an Italian breakfast sandwich which was pretty stacked with various Italian deli meats and looked pretty good, he agreed that it tasted as good as it looked. Overall, this is a place I would come back to, but they really should work on the cup serving thing like I recommended, then they’d be perfect.
Wonderful atmosphere !. Latte was very tasty but at $4.60 very expensive. My 8 oz cup was 3/4 full.
The Creme is amazing! It is Owensboro’s gathering place! I love their live music every weekend!! The honey bee is my favorite latte!!! Definately a must go to!
Great first experiance. I had a wonderful drink that I now can’t remember the name of. It was mint and chocolate with a triple shot of expresso to get me going! I also had the make your own smores which was a very unique and enjoyable experiance. I will definitely be back.
Southern Hospitality at it’s Best. Creme Coffee House has local art, live music, and a courtyard complete with fountain and twinkling lights making this cozy hole in the wall worth a visit. I’ve enjoyed their iced coffee and gunpowder green tea w/honey but my absolute favorite was tonight’s sugar-free iced chai tea w/whipped-cream and cinnamon! Bring a book to swap out at the book exchange. Support local music by picking up some cd’s while you’re there…enjoy. The only thing warmer than the lighting is the smiles beaming from behind the counter. You’ll love it, I know I do.
The Creme a is a great alternative to the larger corporate chains. I always make a point to go here any time I am in Owenboro. The drinks are amazing and the atmosphere is comfy and eclectic. I wish we had one of these where I live. (oh and I am using their free wifi to write this review!)
