Typical Steakhouse Experience. This particular Outback offers pretty run-of-the mill food and service as far as mid-level steakhouses go. Their claim to fame Bloomin Onion is the most unusual and tasty item available. If you decide to eat here be prepared to wait, especially on a weekend. It is not unusual to for the hostess to quote a wait time of at least 45 minutes on a Friday night. In my opinion, Outback is generally over-priced and not worth the wait, but definitely not a bad restaurant. If you decide to go, I recommend trying the Blackberry Sangria. Its very sweet, but also very yummy.
We had a nice server. The beer was cold and they didn’t let it go dry. My wife and I ordered the prime rib and lobster tail. It was superb. The steak was nice and tender and very juicy and the tail was buttery and flavorful. We will go back.
Great. Its been 2 months since I’ve been here. Going back in 2 days. I have probably eaten here 15 times. I have never had a bad steak. here. Victorias centercut fillet is the best steak I have ever had. It is always slammed which is why I don’t go back more often. I’m suprised by the bad reviews here. I will go back hoping for the best and report back.
Will not be back.. My mother and me ordered a ribeye steak each with baked potato and salad. We also had the blooming onion. The onion was okay but the rest of the meal was terrible. The steak was no season or real taste. Also the salad was not good. The lettuce was very brown and looked wilted. Will not waste my money there again. The service was also terrible. Waitress rarely checked back and took for ever to get the check and then take our card.
I’m done with Outback…period!. It’s been ages since my last meal at OB. As a matter of fact, they still served drinks in mugs the last time I was there. I started with Shrimp on the Barbie. They used to serve 16-20s and now you get 31-35s. Why the decrease in size? And they were darn near raw to boot! The Melbourne (porterhouse) ordered rare was a tough as an old shoe. The salad was smaller and the Blue Cheese dressing had no hunks of blue cheese. It’s McDonalds for me next time the OB is suggested.29 Nov, 2010What?. I sorry….I just don’t understand the appeal of OBSH. Get rid of the OVER spicing and give me a call…we’ll go back and try again.
Outback Steakhouse. Great steaks, rack of lamb, chicken, great salads, steamed veggies, bread, drinks. Good friendly service. Usually crowded & waits at certain times, but worth it! Noisy & music not enjoyable, but tolerable for the great food! If you like it quiet, try Olive Garden or Bob Evans… both have good food & quiet atmosphere. OG can get noisy when full in the evenings…but good quiet music!
