It had been about 15 years or so since I had Pizza by the Pound. Why you ask? I have no good reason other than out of sight out of mind but…. We had the 8 lb pizza, and bread sticks with motzaralla and I was blown away!! I remember it was good, but wow!! The bread is out of this world delicious, the pizza was loaded to the hilt with toppings with a fabulous crust! You can tast the freshness and love in every bite. Could use just a bit more cheese, but that could just be me. We picked up so I can’t comment on the service, other than the guy on the phone was nice. PBTP delivers big city taste in a small town. I will not wait so long before going back! This food is awesome!!!
Love the pizza, hate the service. I love pizza by the pound’s pizza! The crust is sooo good and they give you honey to dip it in. The pizza subs are also great! It saddens me because there is an older lady with short hair who waits tables there who is always so rude, that I don’t want to go back. I’m not sure if it’s because I’m young, but she is always inattentive and acts like I’m annoying her or wasting her time by eating there. It doesn’t make sense to me because I’ve been going there several times a year for the 4 years I’ve lived here and I’ve always tipped 20% even though she is rude. I love their pizza but I don’t want to go back because I get such bad service.
I don’t even write reviews, but i felt like i had to for this one. Everything was perfect from the service to the food, to the atmosphere. I loved it.

Amazing pizza!. This place is half a mile from my house yet we’ve only eaten there half a dozen times simply because we would weigh 300 pounds if we did more. It’s a great local dive! They provide honey for the crust! But….. Just lather it all over your pizza! Awesome!
Amazing pizza, fried pickle spears, ice cold beer and an incredible dessert called a Rustic Apple Tart! Super friendly staff. Don’t be fooled by the looks from the outside.
Fabulous Pizza!. My father, step mother, and i go to this place all the time, the pizzas are fantastic!
