My wife and I were in Paducah, KY for the weekend and I wanted seafood. We started with the boiled peer&eat shrimp and my wife had the grilled shrimp dinner and I had the fried clams. Everything was very fresh and excellent tasting. Service was also excellent. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone.
Have been here multiple times with family & every time the food is amazing! The hot&spicy crawfish dip is really, really good! And I LOVE their house vinaigrette dressing, as well as every meal I have gotten there.
Our party of 4 finally made it to Stricklands and it was a great dining experience. Although the lots were full, the wait was only 20 minutes. The decor is quaint and interesting. Our waitress was excellent. And much of the wait staff were the familiar friendly faces from Whaler’s. The food was prompt and, we all agreed, excellent. Our order was Harris Platter, crab cakes, grilled shrimp, and catfish platter. Total bill for 4, not including drinks, was around $50. Yes, I said $50. I got one of the 7 seats at the bar for my 20 minute wait. Ordering and delivering a beer in that 20 minutes was almost more than the chatty, underworked bartender could handle. That would be my only negative comment. We can’t wait to go back. It was GREAT!
Visited with a friend last Friday. Waited about 30 minutes but it was very much worth the wait. We got a sampler plate and split it. Seafood was very fresh. Coconut shrimp, fried fish and crab cakes were the best!
We visited Strickland’s for the 1st time tonight, and enjoyed our visit a great deal. One of the only places in Paducah where you can find Alaskan Salmon on the menu, which was cooked perfectly. Fried Catfish was very good as well. Hush puppies a little on the sweet side for my likes, but cook well. Southern Potato Casserole & fried okra was good too. The french fries were tasty, but could have been just a little more crispy for my taste. Decor put me in mind of the little seafood restaurants you find on the Gulf Coast of Florida. Restaurant was clean and service was very good. Definitely will be going back.
Strickland’s Seafood menu 2016. Come join them for some yummy seafood, lots of choices and conservative prices. Friendly atmosphere and staff.
