My husband and I have always went in to dinner and was always greeted with a smile. We love the food, but today I thought that I would take a chance.and see if they did carry out orders. I was pleasantly surprised to find out that they did. They put me in contact with the bar that takes care of it and I was happy to sat that they answered the phone quickly and no problem with taking my order and the gentleman was very pilot. I can’t stop telling my friends what a great place to eat. The prices of the food iss also great. The portions of the food that you get is unbelievable great. Five Stars for sure!!@
MENU. Upon arriving to my table I was given a menu to select my meal. when I opened it, it was nasty. I gave it back to my waiter and requested another menu. It wasn’t much cleaner. All the menu’s on the table were dirty. I was adjusting the blinds to reduce the sunlight coming in and noticed that the blinds were covered in dust. This was just not dust from over night. This looked like weeks of dust.I enjoy the food, prices and Cheddar’s but the place needs to be cleaned. This makes me wonder if the kitchen is clean.
I had the best time eva. especially wit my waitress amy c. who was da bomb.com fo sho.
Slipping. Cheddar’s is one of our favorite places, so I was surprised last night when it took forever for our food to arrive. The service was great and the food was very good, but we were there for almost 2 hours, more than half of it waiting on our orders. Hope this gets better soon!
Food Quality Has Slipped. Our family ate at Cheddars this past week. The service was good. We noticed what appeared to be a menu different than the ones we have in the Dallas area and for some of the items the prices were higher. We ordered a variety of entrees including chicken fried steak which was served as a square—never saw that before and the tilapia fish which came with a piece so thin and so small it was actually tough. The veggies were good however there was something missing from the taste that we have become accustomed to. My spouse complained that the rice served her had many uncooked hard grains This food just was not the same quality we have experienced in Dallas. A rib and chicken strip platter looked good however I did not eat from it. A hamburger ordered at our table was only partially consumed and the bread was left virtually untouched, Bottom line is the meal could have been better as we know Cheddars can do an excellent job. This location seems to be short on providing that excellent dining experience. In the past we have always encountered a large crowd, sometimes waiting was required. Not this time as we were seated immediately and there was no waiting even as we left.
Food was good, service was slow. We decided to eat here during lunch hours, about 11am. We were quickly seated in the bar area (with two kids) and were only given silverware for the adults. We were greeted by our waiter, gave our drink orders and then waited a while before he came back with the drinks. The he said he had to get the order from the table behind us first, even though they had arrived after we did. Once our order was finally placed our food came as quickly as expected and was very good. I love their baked potato soup and it’s the only reason I eat there! 🙂
Food not the same…… The Cheddars in Louisville has top-notch service with top-notch food. The Elizabethtown location leaves much to be desired. Food is slow in arrival as well as servers are slow and seem to not know their jobs. Training is essential in this market for survival. Regardless of your quality of restaurant, servers are the most important people on the front line. Managers need to set a fire under these servers and re-train or fire.
