Cheddars was a nice place with a wide menu. We started with the spinach dip appetizer – it was VERY good.We love the food, but today I thought that I would take a chance.and see if they did carry out orders. I was pleasantly surprised to find out that they did.Cheddar’s is one of our favorite places, so I was surprised last night when it took forever for our food to arrive. The service was great and the food was very good.
Grabbed an early dinner while in Elizabethtown on our way to see the total eclipse of the sun. We could not find many non-chain restaurants open on Sunday, so decided to hit a chain restaurant that we have not tried before. Cheddars was a nice place with a wide menu. We started with the spinach dip appetizer – it was VERY good. Even my skeptical teenage daughter was won over. For the main course I went with a sirloin, baked potato and salad. All were prepared nicely. The meat was well seasoned. The honey mustard dressing was tasty. I chose to be a little healthier and went with a plain baked potato instead of the loaded variety – it was cooked to a nice level. My daughter tried the maple bacon chicken sandwich. She said it was good, but the chicken breads was a little thin.my wife had the grilled chicken salad and enjoyed the dressings. The salads were served with fresh croissants drizzled with honey. The looked and smelled great, but had a crunchy feel when biting into them – not what I expect in a croissant – I did not finish mine. All in all a good meal at a reasonable price and very good service.
