Very impressed. We are new to the area and decided to try Colton’s Steakhouse for dinner tonight. Our 3 year old son has a gluten allergy. We asked for a gluten free menu (they did have a printed listing of gluten free menu items) and while getting seated at the table, the general manager came over to introduce himself and check in about the gluten allergy. He was able to answer all questions we had and was very friendly and accommodating. He left for a brief moment and returned with a bottle of their house seasoning (it’s gluten free) that he gave us as a gift. Our server was Crystal. She was friendly, and very informed about their menu. After ordering and returning the menus, we requested to see the gluten free menu again. The waitress that brought it back to us was very friendly and talked about gluten free needs with us without being invasive. Our food was good, plentiful (brought some of it home with us) and properly cooked (the steaks were perfect). Servers checked in frequently but not too often to make us feel rushed or that they were hovering. The atmosphere is casual but bright and welcoming. We have two children, both with autism and the restaurant is not overstimulating or so loud that you cannot hear yourself talk. We were very pleased to find a family friendly restaurant so close to our new home that has a great gluten free menu and good service. We will be back!!

Catfish fillets for 14.50 turned out to be 10 catfish nuggets that were rubbery and tasteless. Steak looked like something from Waffle House. Waited 45min for lackluster food and had to ask 3 times for more rolls. Do your self a favor and eat else where.

Hmmm…. The steaks are good-if you do NOT know what good is. guess its all just perception isnt it. why bother experiencing a proper steak if it is just going to spoil you for a cheap experience like Colton’s..or longhorn..etc.30 Sep, 2012Last resort. It was my husbands birthday and he decided he did want to go out to eat after all. we went to several different restaurants but it was saturday and the wait times were so long. we pulled over to coltons since it was the very last restaurant before getting to radcliff where we live. the parking lot was pretty empty and when we walked in we were immediatley seated, awesome. we were totally put off by all the cowboy junk & peanut shells all over the floor but we were just hungry so we gave it a shot. the waitress came right over and took our drink and food orders and when the food came it was fast and hot. the strange colored rubbery steak she presented included all the chewy nodules and connective tissues one would expect with a low grade cut of beef. the menu did not say the house salad was white half -frozen iceberg but it was…what a surprise! i will say that my bland okra was perfectly fried, fresh out of the bag. deep fryers and microwaves. it’s so obvious. Oh but we did have a memorable moment with our server when she let us know she was quitting after that night and made a little joke about enjoying cocaine….i am not joking. she said this to us. do i need to say we will never ,ever return?

Really????. I went to Coltons resturant today Saturday 26 May in Radcliff with my Family for an early dinner. We were seatted quickly and our drink order was taken immediately, before we even had a chance to look at the menu to decide how we were going to quench our thirst. Response was water I will order my drink later. When the food came out it was very appealing to the eye at first. When i went to dress my potato it had the texture as if it had been pulled out of the fridge and nuked for about 2 minutes. My son ordered a steak med and it came out med raw. My wife ordered a side of mushrooms that were cold; they corrected that by putting in the microwave as well. My wife also ordered chicken with pineapple and it tasted like fish? MMMM? So upon further investigation we noticed the pineaple tasted and smelled like fish. How is that do they marinate raw fish in the pineapple cans??. My daughter had grill cheese and fries she was thrilled. So if you are to lazy to cook a grill cheese at home knock yourself out.
