Best homemade food in the area. Not just the best German food but the best food in general. Also Their cheese cake is TO DIE FOR. Have eaten pretty much every restaurant around ft Knox and this place is the best! Not terribly expensive either. Couldn’t recommend more highly.
Average at best. Arrived at 1:35 pm, they close their lunch service at 2:00 pm, we felt a little rushed. Cleanliness is not a strong point. Waitress and staff friendly, the food is average in taste (tasted like Knorr products) and portions not large as promised. I would return if it was the only German place around. Tip fuer den Chef, mach die Sosse selbst und mehr wie zwei Pilze in der Sosse.
Very much like a kantine back in Germany. They even carry German Style Black Forest Ham (Schwartzwalderschinken)!
Great Place to go to ,the Food is excellent ,the Service is very good.love it
Disappointed…. The first time I went in I didn’t even get to sit down or ask if it was a seat yourself establishment. The waitress made eye contact and asked if drinks were mine, but didn’t acknowldege me directly. The second time the cook greeted me and helped me. I seated myself. The table was dirty, but the waitress was busy. Chicken was dry, sauerkraut wasgood, vegetables in cheese sauce ok, and coffee had floatees. The desert, a mocha cake, was the best part. For such a small establishment the waitress seemed overwhelmed. I will not recommend nor return.
First time today! Being from Germany I must say that this is the best German food in the ft Knox/Radcliff/elizabethtown area! Price is fair, food and service wonderful! Will be back tomorrow!
This is the real deal. You will get the best Bavarian experience. Food is great. Very small and itimate. Its family owned that sometimes closes early of an evening; so call first before going. Its my first choice in German cruisine.
