Went for lunch recently with a group of eight and found the wait staff to be very friendly and helpful. Fried appetizers were greasy but tasty (onion straws and pickles). I ordered their burgoo and a brisket sandwich. I did not care for the burgoo–it was not what I think of as burgoo (i.e., Owensboro style). It’smore of a thick stew with potatoes, carrots, onions, butno mutton (chicken only it appeared). The brisket was pretty good but notheavily smoked.
