I’ll be honest, I love this place. It’s the only place north of the Tennessee state line that I can get Cheerwine from the fountain. Love it. Fortunately, they also have some really, really good burgers, particularly for the price. Sure, I can go to Five Guys and get a really good burger for five bucks. But you know what? For that same five bucks, I can go to Cook Out, get a burger almost just as good, and two sides and a drink in addition to that?. I know where I’m going, every time. The burgers are probably the best thing there. The chicken is okay, but the chicken tenders are kind of hit and miss. They often seem to overcook them. The hushpuppies and wraps are awfully good, though. My wife loves their shakes, and they are super tasty and cheap. Service is always very attentive, too.
