Great!. We to Koto last night for my husband’s birthday and the it was, overall, a fabulous experience. We had a mackeral sushi appetizer and for our entrees we ordered the Chef’s special: lobster tail, fillet mignon, scallops, shrimp and chicken hibachi for two. It was awesome. So much food and pretty tasty two. Enough for two extra meals. The only issue we had was we definitely felt rushed to leave. About 5 minutes after the show, we were handed to go boxes and the check. But other than that it was a great experience.
After finding out I had to come to Richmond, KY for work, I began to research places to eat. Koto was a no brainer after reading a few reviews, I was sold. The environment seemed very fun, the employees were incredibly friendly. When I got back to my hotel with my carryout order, I was incredibly displeased at the lack of taste. Maybe, I’m spoiled to Shogun, but the food was beyond bland, The rice had no seasoning, and a few pieces of egg, the chicken was edible, but lacked flavor as well.
Very good. Good food that is consistently well prepared every time we are there. we eat here several times a month. Service is also very good.

Great Japanese!. The atmosphere of the restaurant is wonderful with fish and traditional decor. The food quality ranks pretty high. The prices are fair but could possibly be a little less expensive. I highly recommend Koto’s for a date night!
Excellent Sushi Selection. Koto’s prices may be a bit high, but their sushi selection is excellent. Their shrimp tempura roll is delicious, as are many of the others they serve. They also have great ginger salad dressing!
All about the atomosphere!. Koto features an awesome hibachi grill with exciting chefs and crowd-pleasing food! If you’re not into stir fry, the sushi is just as enjoyable. With a fresh sushi bar and wide selection, the sushi never disappoints. My favorite is the spiderman roll, which tastes just as good as it looks. Prices are not bad for the experience and food! Also, if you want to try various rolls with a friend just have one person order the summer maki and another order the spring maki… Split the orders in half and try 6 different rolls in one sitting!
