What a treat to have a restaurant like this one in Richmond. The buffet is good and the food available is diverse. I do recommend ordering from the menu if you have a little extra money and time, but the buffet is filling and convenient (since it is open at lunchtime). Try the paneer pakora, chicken masala, or anything with lentils. Very good!
I had read a lot of mixed reviews about this restaurant but I decided to give it a try because indian food is my favorite. I was not disappointed in the least. I came for the vegetarian offerings on the buffet. It looked rather sparse but to my surprise the food was a delight to my taste buds. The service was outstanding considering the location. There was a couple who forgot their to go box and upon noticing this the waiter quickly chased them down and gave them their forgotten food. I was truly touched by the level of professionalism and care at this establishment. Should I ever find myself in the area again I look forward to a return visit here. Such a treat and well priced as well.
Genuinely pleasant service. Food tastes good. Not the most robust Indian food spice – wise, although the heat is sufficient. They have a very diverse menu and solid lunch buffet as well.
Best Indian Food in Town. We ate at Masalas last night and the food was excellent as always but now they offer their buffet all day and all evening. This was an extra plus for them. We will denefitely back. GREAT JOB MASALAS

Like family. We went for the first time when they just opened. We’ve been back so many times I’ve lost count. We know the staff so well that they treat us like family whenever we return. My son is seven and they always make a big deal about talking to him and offering him some sort of treat. When he’s not with us they always ask about him. It’s not just great food but great atmosphere. We’ve sampled a lot of their menu and we’ve never been disappointed.
