Some of the most friendly and welcoming staff you will find in a restaurant, ever. I’m certain the chicken and rice soup has the power to cure any ailment and is delicious at the same time. The food is consistent, and always very tasty. The only negative thing I can say is that they don’t serve the food on real dishes anymore, but in plastic to go containers instead. I’m sure this is easier for them, but it takes away from the ambiance of the meal a little bit. I highly recommend the Nam Sod!
I don’t understand how all these reviews are so good. I went a few days ago while at a college audition in Richmond. My mom and I were craving Thai so we stopped here and we were both soooo disappointed in the pad thai. I’ve had frozen dinners that tasted more authentic. I was starving and was only able to tolerate a few bites. They were also out of bean sprouts, and I don’t eat meat, so it was nothing but noodles and tofu. Sorry, the atmosphere is kinda nice, but from my experience this was actually the worst Thai food I have ever eaten.

Thai Smile is the epitome of comfortable dining. The second time me and my fianc went there the owner remembered us and what we ordered. Feels like home and there is food for any type of eater.
Great!. As a thai fanatic, I can say this place is pretty good! I wish they used wide noodles for the pad see ew dish, but other than that the flavors were pretty good. great choice for a thai craving in richmond.
The best Thai food around.. The food here speaks for itself. Every person I have taken here raves about the excellent fare-The owner is hilarious and has a memory like no other. It had been about 8 months between my patronizing his establishment and not only did he remember me, but he remembered what I ordered and which desert I liked! Fast, personal service and the best Thai food in Kentucky.
