What a Trip!. A great trip back in time, and surprisingly good food tucked in the back of this authentic old general store (but expect to leave smelling like sigarette smoke as they do not yet ban the drug). The American Pickers visited this place and tried to purchase some of the old antique toys hanging from the ceiling, but grandma would not sell. Try the cheeseburger off the grill.
A Piece of Americana!. Carriss’s is an oldtime general store that serves real homecooked meals for breakfast and lunch. You get to have lunch with all the local farmers and enjoy meatloaf, a great hamburger or country ham (as well as other entrees). They usually have 2 entree choices each day. It is a real treat to relax and eat at Carriss’s.
