  Disappointed tonight!! Nov., 1st.. Believe it or not we went to The Bell House last Friday night, the food was fabulous, the service was great. We had a great night there were four of us that night. Tonight, Nov. 1st., it was six of us, I had the exact same thing, the Rosemary Chicken and it was not the same, it was almost burnt, did not taste the same at all. Three ordered the Lasagna, they didn’t think it was good either. My husband ordered the Hot Brown, it only had Turkey in it, NO HAM, he was disappointed as well. One ordered the burger, it was just a fried hamburger (he only ate 1/2), he said it was not good at all either. The bread was great like last time. We were very very disappointed tonight with the Bell House. Our waitress though tonight was wonderful, no problem with service tonight…..

  Great food, Great service. We enjoyed our meal on 5/2/2014 so much, we just had to come back on 5/3/2014 after the Kentucky Derby. Thanks to Sue our first trip to Kentucky was very enjoyable. Great food and great service with friendly staff. We hope to come back and will recommend The Bell House to anyone going to the Louisville or Shelbyville Kentucky area.

  Great. My husband and I found a groupon and wanted to try the Bell House. Both of us loved the food and the service and didn’t have any issues. We have talked about going back again. I would recommend to others.

  First visit was for dinner. Service was poor, couldn’t eat entree because of being so salty. My guest also couldn’t eat her pork loin because it was so dry. She took it home to give to her dog. We expressed our concerns to our server, she acted like she didn’t have a clue. One of the owners was there seating people and was aware and she didn’t even have the courtesy to come to our table. I won’t go back and will share this review with others

  Wonderful!. My daughter had her reception here, so it was a buffet style. ( ham, carrots, mashed potatoes,( everyone bragged on those potatoes and had more, lucky for us some didn’t show! lol) salad, rolls, drinks, ( we brought the wedding cake/cupcakes)The food, atmosphere, staff, was nice. I would definitely go back if I had a way. I would like to try other items on the menu also. I do believe the price per person was high in my opinion, since if everyone showed the portion wouldn’t been so great. We do not live near there… 🙂 Mother of the Bride. This was our first time there.. after I wrote this I read some reviews and thought I would add this: We cannot please everyone. And because of distance and some prices it may keep me from being able to come back, but always give someone a second chance. I have had bad experiences at places but liked the food, and tried it again and service was better, although the food went down ! 🙁 I can only say my experience this date. it was bit warm in there also.

  Best dinner in KY. This was hands down the best meal in KY we’ve had in the last 4 years. We had two specials– lemon chicken and the scallops. Perfectly cooked and the service was impeccable. Better deal at lunchtime but worth every penny for dinner.

  Love this place…LOVE IT….. It is so nice to dine in a place like this. The atmosphere is nice, the servers are so nice and the food is exceptional. I would recomend this place to everybody. Local
