Not the best BBQ I have had but the brisket was good and generous. I’m not from around here and just tried it based on rating. I would definitely eat here again!
A solid bbq joint, with friendly service and outstanding sweet tea. The juicy brisket is sliced to order, with a strong smokey taste and extremely flavorful bark. As mentioned by another reviewer below, the pulled pork is saturated in sauce, and was somewhat disappointing. Likewise, the sides are hit and miss. While the baked beans (full of flavor) and the fries (crispy and well seasoned) were hits, the green beans (bland) and the cornbread (dry; stale; tasteless) were misses. We will keep coming back for that sweet tea, brisket and certain sides.
