So good!
The fried ravioli is a must with fresh tomato sauce. I had the pesto chicken Alfredo and I must say the sauce was creamy and smooth with the perfect hint of basil. The specialty cocktails are good and service is on point and respectable. Nice little outside seating area great for people watching on the bustling and eclectic Bardstown Road.
We had the baked spaghetti and chicken parm. Fried ravioli as an appetizer. The food was good. Nothing to write home about for the price. Honestly I’ve had tastier food at Olive Garden or other Italian chains. Service was ok. The food came out at a good pace and was hot. However our drinks were not refilled as fast as we’d like. Setting would have been crowded if the restaurant had been full, but it was a Tuesday night. Table spacing is tight.
Food came out cold and it took about an hour to get it. Salads were warm along with the salad dressing. Their world famous meatballs were mediocre at best.
Cute atmosphere but very mediocre food that tasted like it was reheated. Service was very poor and our waiter was inattentive. We had to get his attention multiple times. He also completely messed up our checks.
I was very unhappy with our visit. The tables were so close people bump into your seat. The waitress was distracted and boardline rude. The food was bland (and that is being nice). As if all this was not unpleasant enough, my friend found a bug in her refilled drink at the end of our meal!
Excellent!. Can’t say enough about Anselmo’s! Excellent food, well priced, have been visiting Louisville for a week and by far our favorite place to eat. Don;t miss it!
