I would gladly eat here again if I met one of the following criteria:A) I wanted to sample a wide variety of bourbons, or other adult beverages, while eating something a step up from the typical bar burger. Ideally using an expense account.B) I wanted P F Chang’s, but I was too hip to be seen eating at a chain restaurant.C) Someone offered to pay my way, if we ate at Asiatique..All that said, I don’t dislike the place. It’s just not my kind of eatery. I stopped by just as they opened and ate at the bar. The atmosphere is OK. I could really have used a bar rail. Hooking your feet back into the chair itself is uncomfortable after a while. I felt like a two year old in a high chair with my feet dangling most of the time. I had the spring rolls, asparagus and dumplings. From best to worst, the shrimp dumplings were in fact very good. The spring rolls filled with cheese were OK, they had a very upscale ‘Crab Rangoon’ thing going on. But the aioli that came with them reminded me a bit too much of thousand island. The asparagus had been improperly trimmed and had woody ends. The dressing over the spears was also far less zesty than it sounded from the description in the menu. But they were cooked well, retaining a pleasing taste and texture till you got to the difficult to eat woody parts.Over all, I could have had a very similar meal, just as tasty overall, at least in my opinion, at P F Chang’s. Probably about 2/3rds the price. Though service was better than I sometimes have seen at P F Chang’s, and that is worth something. One thing I did greatly enjoy was the bourbon. I splurged and tried the 20 year old Pappy Van Winkle. It’s everything I ever hoped a bourbon could be. The full page bourbon list includes some less pricey, but still quite tasty, choices as well.In summary, not really my kind of place. But not bad.

Went on a Friday night and had made a reservation. It however wasn’t necessary as the place was a ghost town. Food was good to average, nothing was outstanding.

So great!. I hosted a customer event at Asiatique, KY and we all had such a great time! The food was phenomenal, the bartender was one of the best bartenders I have ever had the pleasure of being served, and the management is flexible and courteous. I would recommend Asiatique to anyone looking for a good place to have a meal or even a few cocktails, and definitely hit them up if you are looking for an event venue!

One of my favorite standbys. Asiatique is a place with many personalities. You can hang-out at the bar and have drinks and food, grab the patio or lounge for a more casual feeling, or step into any one of the dinning rooms for an elegant full on experience. The drinks are very well made and very reasonably priced. Urban Bourbon trail with over 50 varieties.Loads of small plates (and Happy Hour pricing) that you CAN NOT go wrong with!If you want a real dining experience then have the a price fix meals with or with matching wines that are the best in town!I completely recommend Asiatique – the food is clean, and delicate mixture of flavors. Asian/French fusion with none to compare.

Great experience Saturday night. Lovely flavor components. The Caesar dressing is a real treat. So unexpected. Website is hard to use at least on a iPad or iPhone. Outside deck is great for summer. Only thing about inside is a bad smell in certain parts of the resturant I know that comes from the restrooms it seems. As with many places on bardstown road this seems to be a problem I don’t know if anything can be done about it but it is unpleasant especially in a resturant. But the food… Well I’ve never had a bad meal here.

An Exceptional Evening. The food, service, and atmosphere are all sophisticated and topnotch. Given the quality of the food, it is also more affordable than other restaurants of similar quality. I’m obviously happy about that–many other restaurants are greatly overpriced. On Sunday evening, a bottle of wine is half price with the purchase of an entree. We had a very nice Sauvignon Blanc for $15. The appetizers and salads were delicious, but the ahi tuna entree was phenomenal!! We mentioned, in passing, that it was our anniversary and an INCREDIBLE chocolate torte arrived at our table gratis. The service was absolutely top of the line. It was a perfect evening at a price more affordable than we had expected. Next weekend we will try the happy hour which looks like a great deal.

Jump out of your Louisville box and get to Asiatique. Great food, great service, and amazing atmosphere. If you like margaritas make sure you take a leap of faith and order the Asparita… Nothing short of amazing. Take a chance and explore this place, seriously!
