Refused service. I was born in Louisville have had a hard time for the past few years was hanging out in hienee buts coffe shop on Shelbyville rd and was asked to leave after having the police called onme I found out after talking to cops that im homeless and im not welcome in there coffee shop anymore because ( it makes them look bad) I feel like crying but whats the point maybe hienee bros talks fair trade but if youre homeless and ore having a hard time in life be warned youre not welcome here !
Overpriced, rude barista, wrong order. My wife and I went to this Heine Brothers because our usual coffee shop had a full parking lot. The baristas were rude, got our order wrong and ignored us when we tried to get things set right. We just walked out leaving our orders on the counter and wasted $6.
I’m dedicated. I am a third generation Heine Brothers’ Coffee drinker. I wouldn’t go anywhere else. Starbucks isn’t worth your money unless you actually like mediocre coffee. Heine Brothers’ has great drinks, local art, a wonderful atmosphere, and reliable, quality service. Not all kids these days like their coffee fast and frilly. Take it from me…to Heine Brothers’!
Best cup of coffee around.. I do not like starbuck’s because they can not make a good cup of coffee. Heine Brother’s makes a good plain cup of coffee. Sure prices went up but all coffee went up not just Heine’s. I tend to go to the Douglas Loop location the most, because I go to things nearby. Each store seems to have it’s own personality and core group of customers. Some people I see in there all the time, who knows you might see me too. This one has art on the walls by local artists that changes out frequently. You can by sweets, regulah, fruit pies, cakes and rice krispie treats. They even have sandwiches by Lotsa Pasta, they are high in price but good. I like the three cheese sandwich the best of these, warmed up. The people are there with laptops and wireless devices using the free Wifi. I hook up my Droid and can download Anime or movies to watch. I only wish they would put a Heine Brothers in Jeffersontown so I could get coffee on the way to work. Good friendly place to relax at.
I like the espresso beans, by boyfriend buys them and brings them home and makes us lattes. they are yummy. also, if i go in the store I like to get the iced caramelo.
It’s all about the beans. All organic and fair trade, for those of us that care about such things. The roasts tend to be lighter (in my estimation) than other micro-roasters around town, which is good for the caffeine-hungry.
4.75 for a carmel latte. Screw you. Get off your horse. There coffe us nowhere near worth the prices they charge. No way. I’d rather have starbucks. And they suck
