A Must. This is possibly the best coffee shop in the highlands. It’s my favorite place to waste a couple of hours. Not to mention, I could eat a bowl of the toasted marshmallow whip topping that they serve there.
Coolest, chilliest coffee place in the area. Not only are the workers polite, the drinks and treats are great. There’s something really friendly and social about the atmosphere. Random strangers just came up to me and started making conversation. Totally awesome, but that may not be awesome for someone who isn’t open and receptive?
Passing By. My boyfriend and I were on a road trip back to Florida and looked up coffee shops. This one came with high reviews so we thought we’d stop by. We loved everything we got; chai, coffee, breakfast burritos, and to go we got the green tea blended drink. We loved your variety of different flavored whip cream and that your eggs were from a local farm. My only complaints and they’re big to me is your employee knowledge. I asked what kind of chai you used, they didn’t know. I asked if they could look at the packaging to tell me and he said he didn’t know. I asked if it was powder or liquid, he said he didn’t know. (He was either new, doesn’t drink your chai, or isn’t cross trained) I asked what kind of cheese came on the breakfast burrito, he didn’t know. He asked a girl walking by and she didn’t know. She told me she’d call the baker and ask him. How can you not know what kind of cheese you’re putting on my food or if the packaging for your product has a label on it? I could tell your business is doing well by the large amounts of people coming in the door so I don’t know what is wrong. I think for personal gain you should educate your employees.

Great Coffee and Desserts. Always have a yummy selection of daily self-serve coffees and delectable desserts. I love the giant chocolate chip muffins! Laid back atmosphere and lots of reading material.
Give it a try!. Best chai in town. I’ve never been disappointed at Highland Coffee. Great atmosphere and awesome staff! Plenty options for non-coffee drinkers.
My Chai. You can order a Chai latte but it will never taste the way it does at highland coffee! Also try the spinach and feta croissant. 🙂
