  We eat here once a week. The staff are always friendly. The food is fresh. They have healthy choices on their menu. My kids love their chicken strips and fries.

  I absolutely hate going here. Some of the worst service and food I’ve ever had. Literally our server was on his cell phone every time he came to our table. I will not go back

  Bad Food, Even Worse Customer Service. We normally wouldn’t eat at any other Chips and Salsa Mexican restaurant than our usual one in Lexington(we’ve tried many), but a family member chose this place to celebrate a special event. We called ahead of time and there were 8 of us dining. It was only moderately busy. Right off the bat, we were given chips that were obviously old. The ones that you get in a bag at the grocery are actually better. The customer service was awful. The chips had more warmth than our server. He never checked the table to see who needed refills. Everyone had to ask him for everything. The worst thing about our dining experience was that the food was brought out to each person one, sometimes two dishes at a time over the course of 20 MINUTES!!! Some people in our party ordered combination meals and received only a few parts of their meal at a time. Apparently, the knowledge of how to run a restaurant and how to make the customer feel comfortable is lost upon Mi Puebelito. Also, some people in our party weren’t asked what options of meat they wanted in their entree, so some received everything filled with ground beef. By the way, it was bland. We ordered the Carnitas which are pork tips served with beans and rice. Carnitas are supposed to be marinaded, these were not. They weren’t even seasoned and they were so dry that much of the pork was inedible. We suspect that much like the chips, they were probably made a few days back. The rice was brittle, shriveled, flavorless, and dry. We think that its an insult to the beautiful town and fine people of Versailles that this is what they are trying to pass off to them as Mexican food. Our food was obviously made by someone who was just trying to push through their tickets and our server wasn’t friendly, attentive, or apologetic. He’s lucky that our host felt obligated to tip him. We haven’t been to the other Chips and Salsa place in Versailles so we don’t know if its any good. You’re more than welcome to come to Lexington and visit one of our lovely Taquerias or Tex Mex restaurants. There is one that we have reviewed and highly recommend, so you can click on our profile and read our review of it there. We will respect Mi Puebelito by not mentioning the name of that place in our review, which is a pretty kind thing to do considering how disrespectfully we were treated at their restaurant. We will not be going back.

  Buen servicio, alimento aceptable. We had dinner the other night at Mi Puebelito (Spanish for My Little Town). The three general things I look for in a restaurant are 1). Food Quality 2). Service, and 3). The facility and overall atmosphere of the place. I found both the food and atmosphere to be about average for Mexican restaurants in this area. This is not bad, average is good, I like Mexican food and eat it often, we liked everything we had but nothing stood out as being far superior to other restaurants. The service we received was, I think, above average. Our server was prompt, friendly, and very attentive even on a busy Saturday night.

  Lee’s Famous Mexican. Located on Crossfield Drive in the old Lee’s Famous Receipt location is Mi Puebelito.. Pretty standard Mexican menu. I like the most of the meals. Try it.
