I guess moving from Tampa FL, the Columbia Restaurant and all those truly authentic dining experiences available from the FL Keys to Jacksonville has spoiled both my husband and I. But was not impressed except for staff and quality of service. Sorry.
Food was great, service was pretty bad waited for drinks and request for more chips and salsa was ignored. Overall it was good enough to give it another chance.
Food was good, a little expensive ($45 for 3 without any appetizer), but the service was horrible. No drink refills, had to ask twice to get more chips and salsa, and no offer for a box when we left. Not worthy of a decent tip
The only game in town…. There isn’t much competition in the Mexican restaurant business in Winchester. El Camino Real is really the only place to go in Winchester for anything approaching authentic Mexican Cuisine. Despite this lack of competition, El Camino Real is a pretty darn good restaurant. We found both the food quality and service to be above average. In fact at lunch my chimichanga was served up hot in what seemed like two minutes after I ordered it! Prices here are much the same as other Mexican restaurants in the area, and like the others , El Camino Real has daily drink specials.
This restaurant has the best chimichanga I’ve ever eaten. I completely recommened this to any Mexican food lovers!!!!
