Food was excellent! I had never had boudin balls. The only negative was no raw oysters in early May when most restraunts have them. I had the shrimp combo. It was excellent. Service was very good as well
Their food and service are supreme!!! They were packed on a Wednesday night yet they pull 3 tables together for a large group of friends. Waitress was so polite and spot on with our orders!!! Drinks came amazingly fast and food soon after. Empty plates were removed quickly and bills divided correctly. Prices were soooo reasonably. the food was so delicious…eggplant Acadiana !!! Can’t say enough good things! Oh we even bought some of their homemade dip/salad dressing!! Delish! Some had the oysters !!! I can’t wait to return!!!

The locals know that presently, this is, food-wise, the best restaurant/oyster bar in town. The service is good, although at times the food can be excruciatingly slow in arriving. Still the real deal though. In my opinion they serve up the best seafood gumbo in the area.
The standout items here aren’t the oysters…. They’re actually the crab cakes. Better, cheaper oysters prepared every bit as well or better available at other places. But do yourself a favor and have a crab cake here. Exquisite.
Fresh, large, delicious raw oysters. The best crab cakes ever. Flavorful steak. Delicious eggplant topped with lump crab. Attentive service. Our go-to place to take guests from outside Acadiana. You can’t go wrong here if you want a good meal at a reasonable price.
Not the same. This was my favorite Abbeville rest at one time. Now over priced and the grilled oysters are small as clams (size matters). At least the service is still good.
