Horrible. Even more so after my previous review disappeared; along with my account. Owners are unfriendly and the food is garbage.
Use to be. We lived in Abbeville over a year ago and loved new wok. Recently we moved back and the food is horrible. The pork lo mein is no where close to what it use to be. That was our favorite. It seems like they went with cheaper meats or a new vendor. Tried it twice thinking it was a fluke but it’s not. We will not be returning any time soon. Maybe in a year they will change back.
We eat asian food atleast three times per day. Usually cook our own, but eat out pretty regularly. Very dissapointed with new wok. Only thing good i can say is about the large portions. Food is bland, and the meat and seafood quality is very poor. My wife is thai, and i lived in thailand for four years, and we would get better pork quality from a street food vendor. We gave it three tries, hoping it was just an off night, but it was not. Will not go back. The service was very poor as well. Suprisingly, the buffet up the road, Hai nam, was leaps and bounds better. Nothing special, but good quality and actually tastes like one would expect from strip mall chinese.
All-Around Great. Whenever I am craving good Chinese in Abbeville, I always go to New Wok. They never fail to impress me. I usually will order take-out and it is always ready by the time I arrive. The prices are reasonable with the amount of food they provide. They always seem to go the extra mile with service. There are plenty of times when they gave me some freebies with my order. Seems the more food you order, the more extras they throw in. Whether it is just an extra egg roll or some donuts, they always make me feel as though my service is appreciated. Their selection is huge and have just about anything you would expect from a Chinese restaurant. The lunch special they provide is absolutely wonderful. Great price, cheaper than any fast food combo with more food. Every time I order, I always at least get their Egg Drop Soup and Steamed Dumplings. You really can’t go wrong with any of their menu items. I highly recommend New Wok to anyone looking for good Chinese food, served by good people.
Good value. Haved called in orders several times. Always hot and freshly prepared. Have never been disappointed.

Great for a quick bite. Always ready for pick up by the time I get there and you just can’t beat the price. No BS, just good strip mall Chinese.
