Rude car side service. Poor service.
One time I went and it was amazing! Everything- food, service, atmosphere. Next time (not even a week later) it sucked! There were tables available but we had to wait. After 30 minutes of waiting for our food, we flagged down a manager, who said our order wasn’t even submitted. We had a spinach dip and 2 salads- easy stuff. Took another 10 minutes for our appetizer to arrive, and when our salads came the chicken was ice cold and my lettuce was brown. We were told many excuses by the manager and waiter. I don’t wanna hear excuses. I’m paying for a service. I used to be a hostess. I know how a restaurant works. This was inexcusable.
Open a window or something!. Walked in place is so small and cramped you feel like your eating in a cave. Smothers you as soon as you go in open a window or something. Been here twice ordered grilled fish was told 20 minutes later they were out of that fish..really.??.took you 20 minutes to figure that out. Went back last Saturday sat in bar area couldn’t get waited on. Staff made eye contact but did not come over. Us sitting there with no menues as well as food/drinks should have been a clue. HELLO.! No 3 strikes for me their..OUT.!
Service was slow. The bus boy played on his phone while food was left on the table next to us over an hour. They got our orders wrong and didn’t give us silverware.
Service is extremely slow! Ordered all you can eat soup and salad for lunch and only got one serving in the time I had to eat( over an hour). I guess order your second request when you get the first, it might get to the table by the time you are ready for your check!
What happened???. Applebee’s used to be so great. I cannot understand what has happened to this place. Food and service leaves a lot to be desired.
Horrible service, mediocre food. The service at Applebee’s in Alexandria is awful. The steaks taste like frozen, boxed steaks from a supermarket and the vegetables are never properly steamed (always not done enough, even when requested they be thoroughly cooked). This is a disappointing place to eat and you’d fare better heading down to Chili’s, Texas Roadhouse or ANYWHERE ELSE.
