Real Estate Paralegal. Was very disappointed with my order today, which was only the second time I’ve eaten there. I ordered a King Kong Burger…but the bun was half the size of the patty. I also ordered no cheese or onions…my burger had both. IF I ever order again, I will be sure to ask if they have buns to fit the meat patty.

Great Food. I have eaten at Brocato’s about once a week since moving back to Alexandria. Best home-style meal in the area. I have eaten probably about 75% of the items on the menu and have never had a complaint. Breakfast is also great. You will also leave there full, if not stuffed. Ambiance leaves something to be desired, but hey, this is a breakfast/lunch place, so when you come here you come for the food. The Brocato family and all the employees are very friendly and welcoming.
Poor service and information. They are advertised as being open for breakfast, brunch and lunch. Their Facebook page says open 6-2. Actually they stop serving between 9:30 and 11:00 to set up for lunch. They are open for sitting around and drinking coffee. They even said we should come sit and drink coffee for an hour and a half while they set up for lunch. If you want food, forget it. I even called in advance for directions and they didn’t say they weren’t serving. There is nowhere else around to eat breakfast unless you want fast food. We had planned our morning around all of this wrong information. It would have been easy enough for them to post their actual service hours on their Facebook page. If you aren’t from around there you don’t need to go there seems to be the attitude.

Awesome food. You wont find better food in Alexandria. Great little place!
