I was there working and a friend slugged this spot. It was a great suggestion. There is a daily plate lunch selection offering 3 meat choices and several side choices.I went with the chicken and dumplings, while not what myMom used to make they were good. The broccoli Salad was off the charts as I would eat that over and over.
Just had some red beans and rice, and I have to say that it was the best I’ve ever had. I also like the tomato and cucumber salad. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who’s looking for some good down-home cooking.
