Hands down the BEST Mexican food in town! I had the chicken quesadillas and my fianc had the beef enchiladas, we were both so surprised how well it was cooked! We WILL be back!
Fresh, delicious, and inexpensive. True authentic mexican. Staff is friendly and helpful. Only downside is that the hours are odd and they don’t serve alcohol. If you want fresh mexican, this is the place to go in Alexandria!
I stumbled upon this little gem during my lunch hour one day. Since then, I try to eat there at least two times a month. The barbacoa tacos are the best! The chips and salsa are fresh and the fruit juices in the back are refreshing and yummy. Everything I have had here has been authentic and delicious. And the owners are always friendly and helpful.

This place is the real deal.The fried plantains, smothered chicken, tacos, etc. is ALL absolutely amazing. This isn’t Tex-Mex, and very little is deep fried. The wait staff if super friendly and is willing to answer questions about food you may not know about. And maybe the best part – everything is incredibly fresh.Just go already!
While just driving around town, I found Caro’s totally by accident and thankfully I did! They have the best tacos! The real deal…not the Americanized stuff you’ll get at fast food or other Mexican restaurants. This will be my weekly fix & sample the whole menu. If you haven’t been yet, you definitely should. The dining area is a covered outdoor patio, very nice & the staff is very friendly!!!
2 words; absolutely authenic!!!!! From southern Cali and this place is amazing; not your tex Mex crap. And the service is wonderful; was even given free flan to try
