Great space, moist cakes. This is a really hip looking place with great atmosphere. The cakes are basic: a standard chocolate, white, or yellow cake with no pomp but plenty of moisture. If you think the best parte of a cake is the icing then you’re in for a treat. The icing is heaped on and very good. The only disappointing thing is that the names of flavors are more exotic than the taste of the flavor. For example, I got a blueberry cupcake that was basically a yellow cake with cream cheese icing but not a hint of blueberry, just a blue dot of icing on top. The coffee is good. Not great, but good. Overall an interesting place with great potential. Glad I went.
Little cakes with big taste. This bright and airy bakery offers a variety of cupcakes, cake balls, ice cream and cookies. Apparently, they have poptarts sometimes, but not when I was there. Everything in the bakery case looked amazing. The Southern Pecan cupcake was delicious, as was the coffee. The cupcake prices were typical, but the product is very good. The only downside was the coffee was expensive, and there were no refills. The store was spotless. There were lots of tables, so seating was ample. Staff were very friendly and helpful. This would be a great place to go out out with the girls or maybe on a casual date. They have free WiFi!
Disappointed .. Needs Improvement!. Was so excited about purchasing a few cupcakes to share with my co-workers although after taking a few bites we were all disappointed. Apparently a few of the girls had previously purchased from this bakery in the past and were not really pleased ….. so this came as no surprise to them. Not sure if they freeze/refrigerate their cupcakes, then pull and frost as needed however the cupcakes were very dry and the taste was subpar. Maybe the owner(s) should try establishments that actually have A+ cupcakes and revamp accordingly. It is really a shame this could be a wonderful little business!
